The district has begun the process of selecting the next principal for Northside Elementary and Tamassee-Salem Elementary Schools. We are committed to a thoughtful and transparent process that will seek to attract the best candidates and select a principal who is most equipped to meet the needs of the students, staff and community.
As part of this process, we are asking for feedback and perspective regarding the specific needs of the school as well as the leadership qualities, experiences, and priorities that are most important in the next principal. Your input will be important in helping to identify and select the best candidate for this important role. We invite you, therefore, to complete the survey linked here that will help capture your thoughts and perspectives as we begin our selection process.
The selection process will also include direct input from faculty and staff as well as community members that will be gathered in the coming weeks. Once input has been received and reviewed, candidates will be selected to participate in the interview process and ultimately finalists will be recommended to the superintendent and the board for approval and placement.
